There could be a new combination of medications that can help treat people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. While the findings are still in their preliminary stages, they may be just the glimmer of hope that many families affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia need.

According to the Alzheimer’s Association, this memory condition is the only cause of death in the top 10 in the U.S. that can’t be cured, prevented or treated in any way, what’s more troubling is that someone develops Alzheimer’s every 67 seconds. So, when people hear of a possible treatment method for this detrimental disease, they’re bound to get excited.
