Kindness to Others Will Enrich Your Life

Thousands of area families and individuals have had an easier time of it since 1985, when a handful of people with compassion, and some with experience as family caregivers, decided to help others to navigate the Alzheimer's experience.

At various moments in our lives, we can realize that service to others fits with our values, our lives and our schedules. Here are a few ways to reward yourself by rewarding others through ASN:

• Support group facilitator • Help with mailings • Friendly visits
• Caregiver trainer • Raise money • Recruit members
• Community speaker • Publicity • Respite educator
• Student internship • Memorials outreach • Office support
• Conduct surveys • Grant writing
